TAG FASTENERS AND ACCESSORIES
As with every aspect of our product line, our Luggage Tag Accessory
line is the most thorough and complete on the market today! Avant,
Inc. carries the low cost clear loops, perfect for trade show give
aways, and the colored loops. Plus Avant carries the long leather
straps, plastic straps, and chains for higher quality and appearance.
To create Luggage Tags, there is two different methods:
- Laminated, permanent, water-proof type. This
requires the use of a hot laminator, of high enough quality that
no matter what the thickness of the insert, it can handle sealing
the pouch properly for you. Typically, the low-end tiny units
sold at paper supply stores can not keep up with this, and were
not designed for this use. They were created to seal light weight
laminate to regular paper. Avant's laminators are heavy-duty,
and this is exactly what they were designed for! (Click

require the correct Luggage tag size laminating pouch, with the
slot already in the short side, so all you have to do is seal
it, and put on the attachment (Click

Then one of the attachments listed below. (Remember, the laminated
Luggage Tag is PERFECT for a VERTICAL ID CARD... just use a badge
clip or lanyard instead of a loop. Click

- Re-useable, Vinyl type. This requires the use
of the Vertical
Self-Locking Prox card holder, and one of the attachments
below. This type, although re-useable, is not water or dirt proof,
so moisture or filth can get into the pouch and affect the insert
used.
