for high volume printing of dual-sided plastic cards in color. The
P420i's rugged, all metal enclosure houses a low-maintenance print
mechanism that includes self-cleaning card handling, high capacity
ribbon system, two-line LCD control panel, and convenient card reject
hopper. The reject hopper separates cards that fail encoding prior
to printing, saving valuable printer ribbon. The enclosure includes
a viewing window to monitor the printing process without opening
the unit. Transparent input and output hoppers provide visual card
capacity status. Dual-Sided color Card Printer with Built-in Laminator Provides Fast, Easy Production of Long-life Plastic Cards! The P520i is a robust, high-speed card printer designed to quickly produce ISO flat cards for high durability and secure applications. The P520i features an all metal enclosure that houses a fast field-proven print engine, and heavy-duty fourth generation Lx4 card laminator performance tuned for the P520i print engine. Laminating considerably increases card life and durability. Lamination can prolong card life by 2 to 5 additional years when compared to non-laminated cards under similar conditions.
