DTC MODEL RIBBONS
The newest addition to the Fargo Ribbon line: DTC Model Ribbons.
To make it easier to remember the differences between the ribbons,
a letter code has been developed to identify the different panels
that each ribbon may have. The code is as follows:
Y = Dye-Sublimation Yellow Panel
M = Dye-Sublimation Magenta (red) Panel
C = Dye-Sublimation Cyan (blue) Panel
B = Dye-Sublimation Black Panel
K = Resin Black Panel
O = Clear Protective overlay Panel
H = Heat Panel
• YMC ribbon –
Smoothly blends up to 16.7 million colors to produce photo-quality
images.
• YMCK, YMCKO, YMCKK, YMCKOK
ribbons – Perfect for printing full-color cards with resin
black text and visible-light and infrared-readable bar codes.
• Ribbons with two resin black
(K) panels are for fast, efficient dual-sided printing.

FARGO DYE-SUBLIMATION
RIBBONS
PVC card printer ribbons come in several different varieties, and
each type has special benefits. The types are classified as dye-sublimation
only, resin thermal transfer only, and combination dye-sub/resin
thermal transfer. To make it easier to remember the differences
between the ribbons, a letter code has been developed to identify
the different panels that each ribbon may have. The code is as follows:

FARGO RESIN RIBBONS
Resin ribbons are the economical solution for printing durable,
single-color cards with sharp text and clear, crisp bar codes. A
variety of standard and metallic ribbon colors are available along
with a unique scratch-off ribbon for specialty applications.

ribbon can be scanned by both Infra-Red and Visible light scanners
